The Animas Watershed Partnership is currently evaluating the Florida River and tributaries to assess and select restoration opportunities.  The selected sites will be detemined using GIS, water quality data, as well as coordination with land owners and local resource management agencies.  The goal will be to identify locations where restoration activities will benefit water quality, habitat, and water quantity in the Florida River watershed.
