Animas River PlanAWP is leading a community-driven watershed planning process to address a variety of water values and identify priority projects. The group is also advancing a demonstration project to engage diverse partners and showcase river restoration techniques.

Animas River Watershed Based PlanAWP is working to update the Animas River Watershed Based Plan (2011) to understand current conditions, identify data gaps, and develop a comprehensive plan that considers both water quality and quantity concerns within the watershed.

Streambank RestorationAWP is working with partners to identify restoration opportunities throughout the watershed. Currently, AWP is working on funding restoration on the main stem of the Animas River north of Durango near Oxbow park and preserve.
